Hemantha Ranawaka is a retired IT professional, Administrative Manager and the Joint  Secretary of the Administrative Board of Meetirigala Nissarana Vanaya Monastery.
He is also a Director of Sati Pasala Foundation and Secretary, Dutu Gemunu Aranya, Vijithapura, and Secretary, Pilisarana Meheni Aramaya.
